Shanicka Roberts is the artist behind the lens at Shan Roberts Photography and co-owner of Photography BAE Studios, located in Atlanta, GA.  She loves shooting lifestyle sessions as she feels that it is so important to document ever-lasting memories. 

Earlier in her life, she knew that she likes telling stories through photographic imagery because she always liked taking pictures and looking back at them. Shan would often look through photo albums at her grandmother's house while she told her stories throughout her life. Because of having exposure to tangible prints in an album, Shan values them more than ever as an adult. Shan can go to her grandmothers house today and see a picture of her grandfather with Malcom X when he was in college. What if technology did not exist? How would we document our life? This is so profound because unfortunately images created nowadays do not go beyond digitals.

During her spare time, you can find her cycling, playing golf or hanging out with her friends and family. She loves ice cream... ummmm good!! While she does not have any children yet, she has two god children (Blake and Gabrielle) that she loves to pieces.
